A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of South Lyon, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in South Lyon — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from South Lyon customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in South Lyon or the surrounding Oakland County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in South Lyon, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

South Lyon is a city in Oakland County, Michigan, with a population of 11,746 according to the 2020 census, representing modest growth from 11,327 residents in 2010. Founded in 1832 as Thompson's Corners, the city was renamed for its location within Lyon Township, which was named after Lucius Lyon, a member of the state legislature. South Lyon incorporated as a village in 1873 and achieved city status in 1930.
The city's development was shaped by railroad history. Three major rail lines once served South Lyon: the Detroit, Lansing, and Northern Railroad, which arrived in 1871; a predecessor to the Ann Arbor Railroad, which built a line from Ann Arbor in 1880 but was removed around 1890; and the Grand Trunk's Jackson Branch, completed in 1883, which served the city until the early 1980s. That historic rail corridor has been transformed into the Huron Valley Rail Trail, a popular paved bicycle and pedestrian path. Today, CSX operates a main line through South Lyon connecting Detroit to Grand Rapids.
The city is home to South Lyon Community Schools, a public district serving three counties and 83 square miles. The district operates two high schools, South Lyon High School and South Lyon East High School, both members of the Lakes Valley Conference and Michigan High School Athletic Association. Among residents over 25, ninety-three percent have graduated from high school, and forty-two percent hold bachelor's degrees or higher. McHattie Park anchors the community with recreational facilities and the Witch's Hat Depot Museum and Historic Village, while Volunteer Park offers 130 acres of sports and recreation areas.
