If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.

A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Pontiac, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Pontiac — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Pontiac customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Pontiac or the surrounding Oakland County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Pontiac, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Pontiac, the county seat of Oakland County, is located approximately 26 miles northwest of Detroit and serves as part of the greater Detroit metropolitan area. As of the 2020 census, the city had a population of 61,606. Founded in 1818, Pontiac was the second European-American organized settlement in what is now Metro Detroit, established after settlers followed the Saginaw Trail north from Detroit. The city was named after Obwaandi'eyaag, a war chief of the Odawa people who occupied the area before European arrival. Two years after its founding, Pontiac was designated the county seat for Oakland County, largely due to the lobbying efforts of the Pontiac Company, a group of 15 landowners chaired by Solomon Sibley. The city became an incorporated municipality in 1861 and grew rapidly into an industrial center. Early mills utilized the Clinton River as a power source, and carriage manufacturing companies flourished at the turn of the twentieth century. As automobiles emerged, Pontiac became a capital of the new industry, with multiple General Motors facilities including Fisher Body, the Pontiac Motor Division, and other manufacturing operations that formed the backbone of the city's economy throughout the twentieth century. The city was also home to the Pontiac Silverdome, which served as the home of the Detroit Lions from 1975 to 2001 and hosted Super Bowl XVI in 1982 before its demolition in 2018.
