If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Milford and the surrounding Oakland County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Milford, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Milford — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Milford customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Milford or the surrounding Oakland County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Milford, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Milford is a village located in Oakland County, Michigan, and is home to the Milford General Motors Proving Ground. According to the 2020 census, the village had a population of 6,520 residents spread across 2.52 square miles. The community's roots run deep, beginning in 1832 when Elizur and Stanley Ruggles built a sawmill that marked the village's founding. The following year, Luman Fuller constructed the first gristmill, and in 1835, the first post office opened under postmaster Aaron Phelps. Throughout the nineteenth century, Milford developed around waterpower resources. The Lower Mill Pond was created in 1836, followed by the Upper Mill Pond in 1845, and later the Hubbell Pond in 1911 on the Huron River to generate electricity. The village was formally incorporated in 1869. These early investments in hydropower positioned Milford as a forward-thinking community, becoming one of the first to have electric lights in 1892, with telephone service following a year later. By 1939, Henry Ford built a carburetor plant and two hydroelectric stations in the village to support both agricultural and industrial work. Though the carburetor plant was demolished in 2002, one of the Art Deco hydroelectric stations remains on Pettibone Creek, with restoration efforts beginning in 2004. Today, Milford continues to blend its industrial heritage with modern community life.
