Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Washington Grove customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Washington Grove or the surrounding Montgomery County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Maryland involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Washington Grove, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Maryland environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Washington Grove began as a Methodist camp meeting site established in 1873 when church leaders sought a permanent location for their gatherings. A committee from the Foundry Methodist Church in Washington, D.C. purchased 267.5 acres near Montgomery County, looking for a place close enough for a day trip, with clean water, shade, and protection from alcohol sales. The first camp meeting convened in August 1874 with 240 tents arranged around a central plaza. Families could purchase shares of stock to build cottages or rent tents for the two-week Methodist Episcopal gatherings. The community developed distinctive architecture, with Carpenter Gothic cottages featuring peaked roofs resembling the original tents and green and white exteriors surrounding a large tabernacle built in 1877. As the camp grew, larger facilities followed—an Albany Hotel in 1880 with rooms and dining service, and eventually an auditorium in Woodward Park in 1905 that could seat 1,400 people for entertainment, lectures, and religious services. The Washington Grove Camp Meeting Association maintained strict rules reflecting Methodist values, prohibiting alcohol sales, card playing, dancing, and Sunday commerce throughout the grounds. The Washington Grove Historic District was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1980. Today, Washington Grove remains a small community in Montgomery County with a population of 505 residents at the 2020 census, preserving its heritage as a unique religious and cultural gathering place.
