Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Sandy Spring customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Sandy Spring or the surrounding Montgomery County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Maryland involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Sandy Spring, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Maryland environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Sandy Spring is an unincorporated community in Montgomery County, Maryland, with roots reaching back to the early 18th century. Quaker settlers arrived seeking land to cultivate tobacco and corn, establishing a community that would become defined by its religious and agricultural heritage. Early landowners like Richard Snowden, who patented Snowden's Manor in 1715, and James Brooke gradually accumulated vast holdings in the area. The Quakers built their current brick meeting house in 1817, replacing an earlier frame structure from 1770, and the fresh-water spring near this building gave Sandy Spring its name.
The community played an important role in local African-American history. Sharp Street Church, founded in 1822, was Montgomery County's first African-American congregation. Local Quakers, who prohibited slavery among their members starting in the 1770s, donated land and funds to establish this church and later supported the first school for Black children in the county around 1864. Sandy Spring also developed educational institutions including Sherwood Academy, which became Sherwood High School in 1906, and Sandy Spring Friends School, established in 1961.
The Sandy Spring Museum, founded by insurance salesman Delmas Wood in 1980, preserves the community's history through antique furniture, farm equipment, photographs, and documents. Originally housed in a bank basement, the museum moved to Tall Timbers in 1986 and expanded to a dedicated building on Bentley Road in 1997, with additional facilities added in 2007. Today, Sandy Spring remains a historic neighborhood whose geographic extent traditionally encompassed nearby communities like Brookeville and Olney.
