Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Takoma Park — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Takoma Park customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Takoma Park or the surrounding Montgomery County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Maryland involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Takoma Park, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Maryland environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Takoma Park is a city in Montgomery County, Maryland, located just northeast of Washington, D.C., in the Washington metropolitan area. Founded in 1883 by Benjamin Franklin Gilbert and incorporated as a town in 1890, Takoma Park began as one of the first planned Victorian commuter suburbs, built around the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad's Metropolitan Branch. The city takes its name from Mount Rainier, a name chosen in 1883 by DC resident Ida Summy at Gilbert's suggestion, believed to mean "high up" or "near heaven."
From its earliest days, Takoma Park was shaped by deliberate planning and distinctive character. Gilbert purchased his initial 100-acre plot in spring 1884 and methodically developed it, clearing forest to create streets and residential lots. By 1885, about 100 residents lived there, and the community grew rapidly to 75 houses by 1888 and 235 homes by 1889. Notably, original property deeds prohibited alcohol production and sale, a restriction that remained in effect until 1983.
The city's history includes significant religious presence. In 1903, the Seventh-day Adventist Church relocated its headquarters to Takoma Park, eventually purchasing fifty acres along Sligo Creek. For many decades, the city served as the world headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church before the organization moved to Silver Spring in 1989.
Today, with a 2020 population of 17,629, Takoma Park maintains its distinctive identity as a Tree City USA and a nuclear-free zone. Since 2013, it has been the first city in the United States to allow 16- and 17-year-olds to vote in municipal elections, a pioneering step in civic participation.
