If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Rockford and the surrounding Spokane County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Rockford, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Rockford — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Rockford customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Rockford or the surrounding Spokane County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Washington involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Rockford, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Washington environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Rockford is a small town in southeastern Spokane County, Washington, nestled in the rolling agricultural region of the Palouse. First settled in 1878 by D.C. Farnsworth, the town takes its name from a rocky ford on Rock Creek. A post office was established two years later in 1880, and the arrival of the Oregon Railroad and Navigation Company in 1889 marked a turning point for the community. Rockford was officially incorporated as a town in 1890, solidifying its place in the region.
The town sits in a valley where Mica Creek flows from the north to meet Rock Creek, which approaches from the southeast before turning northwesterly through town. The surrounding plateau rises nearly three hundred feet above the valley floor, reaching an elevation of approximately twenty-six hundred feet above sea level. Rockford covers just over half a square mile and is well connected by transportation routes. Washington State Route 27 runs along the eastern edge, linking Rockford to Fairfield six miles south and to Spokane Valley about fifteen miles north. State Route 278 begins in Rockford and extends just over five miles east to the Idaho state line, running through the center of town along Emma and First Streets.
As of the 2020 census, Rockford had a population of 522 residents, reflecting modest growth from earlier decades. The town continues as a quiet community in Washington's agricultural heartland, maintaining its historical character while serving as a crossroads for travelers moving through the region.
