Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Warner Springs customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Warner Springs or the surrounding San Diego County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in California involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Warner Springs, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all California environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Warner Springs sits in northern San Diego County as a small unincorporated community built around natural hot springs that have shaped the area for centuries. The Cupeño people were the original inhabitants, living at the hot springs they called Agua Caliente long before Spanish explorers discovered the springs in 1795. The Spanish established the Santa Ysabel Asistencia about eight miles south in 1818, and constructed the St. Francis of Assisi chapel around 1830 with adobe walls and locally made red tiles.
In 1844, Juan Jose Warner received the Rancho San Jose del Valle land grant and renamed the area Warner Springs. His adobe complex became a crucial way station for emigrants traveling the Southern Emigrant Trail between 1849 and 1861, hosting the only trading post serving that route. The ranch evolved into a stagecoach stop on the San Antonio-San Diego Mail Line in 1857 and the Butterfield Overland Mail route until service ended in 1861, when the Union Army established Camp Wright as a cavalry outpost during the Civil War. Former Governor John Downey purchased the ranch in 1880 but disputes over Cupeño residents led to their eviction in 1901, with their departure in 1903 becoming known as the Cupeño Trail of Tears. By the early twentieth century, the springs had developed into a resort with cottages and a bathhouse. William Henshaw purchased the ranch in 1911 and completed Henshaw Dam by 1924. Today, Warner Springs remains a quiet community positioned along State Route 79 between Temecula and the mountain communities to the south, serving as home to everyday residents and historic preservationists alike.
