A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Lemon Grove, including:
Three steps from your first call to cash in hand. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Lemon Grove — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and hands you cash before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Lemon Grove customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Lemon Grove or the surrounding San Diego County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in California involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Lemon Grove, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all California environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Lemon Grove's history is rooted in California's Spanish mission era, beginning as part of Mission San Diego de Alcalá before becoming part of a vast land grant to Santiago Argüello during the Mexican period. The town's founding traces to 1850, when Robert Allison arrived from Sacramento and purchased thousands of acres from Argüello's heirs. Allison's son Joseph subdivided the land and filed maps for "Lemon Grove" in 1892, naming it after his mother, Tempa Waterman Allison. The region's mild climate proved ideal for growing subtropical fruits, and by 1894, the San Diego Union described Lemon Grove as "a sea of lemon trees." The Lemon Grove Fruit Growers Association, established in 1893, helped establish the area's agricultural identity. Bohemian immigrant brothers Joseph and Anton Sonka opened the well-known A. Sonka and Son general store, while Anton's son Tony championed the iconic oversized lemon monument, built by local architect Alberto Treganza to celebrate the town's prosperity and purpose. Lemon Grove earned national significance in 1931 through the Lemon Grove Incident, when Juan De Dios Gonzalez led Mexican American parents in successfully challenging school segregation in Roberto Alvarez vs. the board of trustees—the first major judicial victory against school segregation in America. After World War II, citrus groves gave way to suburban development, and Lemon Grove was formally incorporated as California's 414th city on July 1, 1977. Today, the community reflects the diverse heritage and determined spirit that shaped its transformation from agricultural hub to modern suburban city.
