If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Raymond and the surrounding Rockingham County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Raymond, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Raymond — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Raymond customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Raymond or the surrounding Rockingham County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Hampshire involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Raymond, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Hampshire environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Raymond is a town in Rockingham County, New Hampshire with a population of 10,684 according to the 2020 census. The main village, located along the Lamprey River near Route 27, is home to 3,738 residents. Part of Pawtuckaway State Park lies in the town's northern section.
Originally settled by families from Exeter as a parish of Chester, the town was first known as Freetown, a name that arose from the ship timber business. When Raymond incorporated in 1764, residents chose the new name, which according to local historian Joseph Fullonton means "the lustrous, luminous or shining world." In 1906, Andrew Carnegie granted $2,000 toward building a library in town, and the Dudley-Tucker Library opened two years later overlooking the Common.
Raymond's transportation history reflects broader changes in American infrastructure. The Concord and Portsmouth Railroad reached the town in 1850, though its route was altered in 1862 to redirect toward Manchester. The line eventually became the Portsmouth Branch of the Boston and Maine Railroad. Passenger service ended in 1954, and the last train served Raymond on July 31, 1980. The tracks were removed between 1983 and 1985 and converted into a rail trail. The restored depot now houses the Raymond Historical Society.
Frank J. Mafera, a notable resident recognized by New Hampshire Historical Marker 273, patented the first method for weaving chain link fencing in 1930 and founded the company that became the New Hampshire Fence Company. The town continues to serve as home to Raymond High School and remains an important community in the region.
