There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Closter, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Closter — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Closter customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Closter or the surrounding Bergen County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Jersey involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Closter, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Jersey environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Closter is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, with a population of 8,594 according to the 2020 census. The community's rich history begins long before European settlement, when the Lenape Native Americans inhabited the area, hunting, fishing, and farming the land. Dutch settlers arrived in the early eighteenth century and left a lasting mark on the region. English Governor Philip Carteret granted land in the area to Balthaser De Hart in 1669, and the first official land deed for what is now Closter was recorded on April 13, 1671. The Nagel and Vervalen families became the area's first settlers in 1710. The name Closter, derived from the Dutch word "klooster" meaning "a quiet place, monastery, or cloister," first appeared in a deed dated November 18, 1721. The spelling and pronunciation evolved over time, eventually becoming the modern "Closter" with its familiar long-o sound. Streets throughout the borough honor early Dutch families including the Bogerts, Demarests, and Vervalens, while Jersey Dutch houses remain visible reminders of this heritage. The arrival of railroad service in 1859 transformed Closter into a commuter community with access to Manhattan via ferry. By 1904, when Closter was officially incorporated as a municipality, the community had begun its transition from sprawling estates and farms to an upper-middle-class suburban town, earning the nickname "Hub of the Northern Valley" due to its central location.
