A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of New Sweden, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in New Sweden — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from New Sweden customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in New Sweden or the surrounding Aroostook County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Maine involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in New Sweden, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Maine environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

New Sweden is a town in Aroostook County, Maine, with a population of 577 according to the 2020 census. Founded in 1870, the town has deep roots in Swedish heritage that remain visible today. The community maintains many traditions from its founding, including celebrations of St. Lucia Day and Midsommar, as well as Founders Day observed annually on July 23. Older residents still speak Swedish, and the New Sweden Folk Dancers perform regularly at Swedish celebrations throughout the year. Swedish cuisine continues to play an important role in community gatherings.
The town's historic landmarks reflect its cultural significance. The Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church, organized in August 1871, is listed in the National Register of Historic Places along with the Larsson-Noak Historic District. The church has maintained its Swedish heritage, even conducting services in Swedish during the 1980s when it was served by native Swedish pastor Reverend Hans Olof Andræ, who also offered conversational Swedish classes to the community.
New Sweden spans 34.60 square miles in northeastern Maine. The town experienced notable historical events, including a tragedy in 2003 when poisoned coffee at the Gustaf Adolph Lutheran Church sickened 15 parishioners and resulted in fatalities. In September 2024, the town was also the site of the disappearance of Stefanie Damron. Additionally, New Sweden was home to Einar Gustafson, who served as the archetype for the child honored by the Jimmy Fund.
