There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Pinos Altos, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Pinos Altos — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Pinos Altos customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Pinos Altos or the surrounding Grant County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Mexico involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Pinos Altos, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Mexico environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Pinos Altos is a census-designated place in Grant County, New Mexico, located five to ten miles north of Silver City. The community was founded in 1860 following the discovery of gold in the nearby Pinos Altos Mountains. Originally named Birchville after prospector and former outlaw Robert H. Birch, one of three men who found the first gold, the town later adopted the Spanish name Pinos Altos, meaning tall pines, due to the tall trees that grew in the area. The community boomed during the 1880s and 1890s, reaching a population of about 9,000 before gradually being abandoned in the early 1900s.
The town's early years were marked by conflict. From 1860 until late 1861, miners faced harassment from Apache Indians opposed to American and Mexican settlement. On September 27, 1861, Pinos Altos was the site of a major battle between the Arizona Guards and Apache warriors led by Mangas Coloradas and Cochise. Tensions persisted for years until Fort Bayard was established nearby in 1866. In 1861, Samuel G. and Roy Bean operated a store and saloon on Main Street, where Roy's cannon, used to repel an Apache assault, was displayed.
The town attracted investment from Senator George Hearst, who developed several mines and built a stamp mill in 1889. He incorporated a narrow gauge railroad completed in 1906 to connect his properties to his Silver City smelter, though it closed the following year when copper prices dropped. Today, Pinos Altos serves as a community for summer homes and tourism, with many original buildings still standing. The 2020 census recorded a population of 225.
