Lincoln is a town in Providence County, Rhode Island, located in northeastern Rhode Island north of Providence. With a population of 22,529 at the 2020 census, Lincoln is part of both the Providence metropolitan statistical area and the Greater Boston combined statistical area. The town covers 18.9 square miles and sits on the west bank of the Blackstone River, bordering seven other Rhode Island municipalities.

The town was originally part of Smithfield until 1871, when it separated and was named in honor of Abraham Lincoln. Central Falls later split from Lincoln in 1895.
