If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Lauderdale and the surrounding Ramsey County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Lauderdale, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Lauderdale — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Lauderdale customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Lauderdale or the surrounding Ramsey County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Minnesota involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Lauderdale, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Minnesota environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Lauderdale is a small city in Ramsey County, Minnesota, located within the Minneapolis–St. Paul metropolitan area. With a population of 2,271 according to the 2020 census, it occupies just 0.42 square miles and holds a distinctive position as one of only two cities directly bordered by both Minneapolis and St. Paul, alongside Roseville. The community also borders Falcon Heights.
The area has deep historical roots. Originally called Rose Hill, Lauderdale was part of the larger Rose Township, which was named after trader Isaac Rose and encompassed parts of what are now several surrounding communities. In 1871, the township's first school opened on land donated by Heman Gibbs of Gibbs Farm Museum fame. The Village of Lauderdale was formally incorporated on January 21, 1949, and took its name from William Henry Lauderdale, a prominent Twin Cities businessman who contributed land to Rose Hill Township for a school and park.
Today, Lauderdale is served by the Roseville Area School District and is home to part of the Luther Seminary campus. Minnesota Highway 280 functions as a main route through the community. The city's population has remained relatively stable over recent decades, hovering around 2,300 residents through the 2000s and 2010s before settling at just over 2,200 by 2020, reflecting its character as an established, compact residential community within the Twin Cities region.
