If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Casco and the surrounding Cumberland County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Casco, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Casco — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Casco customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Casco or the surrounding Cumberland County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Maine involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Casco, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Maine environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Casco is a town in Cumberland County, Maine, located just under thirty miles from downtown Portland and included in the Portland-South Portland-Biddeford metropolitan area. With a population of 3,646 at the 2020 census, Casco encompasses three villages: Casco, South Casco, and Cook Mills. The town borders the east shore of Sebago Lake and is home to part of Sebago Lake State Park, one of Maine's five original state parks, established in 1938.
The area's history stretches back to 1767, when Raymondtown Plantation was granted by the Massachusetts General Court to Captain William Raymond and his soldiers in recognition of their service in the 1690 Battle of Quebec. The town was formally incorporated as Casco on March 18, 1841, after the western half of Raymond petitioned to become a separate township due to geographical separation behind Rattlesnake Mountain.
Early settlers found Casco's rocky soil challenging but tolerably productive, and the town's water outlets proved ideal for mills. By the nineteenth century, Casco supported a thriving industrial base including four sawmills, four gristmills, shingle factories, a carriage factory, and a tannery. The 1832 completion of the Cumberland and Oxford Canal made Sebago Lake a direct trade route to Portland, and steamboat travel began in the 1840s, bringing both tourists and freight to the region. Today, Casco Days, an annual community fair held in Casco Days Park on the last Saturday in July, celebrates the town's vibrant local culture.
