A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Alstead, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Alstead — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Alstead customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Alstead or the surrounding Cheshire County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Hampshire involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Alstead, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Hampshire environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Alstead is a town in Cheshire County, New Hampshire, with a population of 1,864 at the 2020 census. The town was chartered by Massachusetts Governor Jonathan Belcher in 1735 as one of nine forts designed to protect southwestern New Hampshire from Indian attack. Originally granted as Newton or Newtown in 1752, it was incorporated as Alstead in 1763, named after Johann Heinrich Alsted, who compiled an early encyclopedia popular at Harvard College. Settled around 1764, Alstead experienced a notable moment during the Revolutionary War when it briefly joined Vermont in April 1781 before returning to New Hampshire authority early the following year at the insistence of George Washington.
The town's industrial heritage centers on papermaking. Once known as Paper Mill Village, Alstead was home to one of New Hampshire's first paper mills, established in 1793 on the Cold River by Ephraim and Elisha Kingsbury. The mill operated until it was destroyed by fire in 1880. Beyond papermaking, the town's streams and ponds powered various small mills throughout its history as an agricultural community.
Alstead is marked by generous philanthropic contributions from native sons. The Shedd-Porter Memorial Library, built in 1909-1910 in the Beaux-Arts style, was gifted by John G. Shedd, president of Marshall Field's department store in Chicago. Charles M. Vilas, another native son, donated a public recreation area, school building, and Cheshire County's only carillon. The town is home to Feuer State Forest and is drained by the Cold River, which dramatically affected the community during a devastating flood in October 2005 that claimed four lives and caused major property damage.
