If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Winn and the surrounding Isabella County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Winn, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Winn — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Winn customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Winn or the surrounding Isabella County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Winn, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Winn is an unincorporated community in Isabella County, Michigan, located about ten miles southwest of Mount Pleasant within Fremont Township. As a census-designated place, it recorded a population of 166 residents in the 2020 census. Though Winn has no legal autonomy as an unincorporated community, it maintains its own post office with the 48896 ZIP Code.
The community traces its origins to 1867, when Mr. Winn established the area's first post office on December 19 of that year, with Franklin Williams serving as the first postmaster. The settlement grew significantly after 1875, when Ohio native William Dush arrived to exploit the area's lumber resources. Dush officially platted the community in 1876, and it became known as both Dushville and Winn. Under Dush's leadership, a steam-powered sawmill was built and the community flourished, reaching approximately 250 residents by 1885 and including general stores, a blacksmith shop, boarding house, church, and other establishments. Following devastating fires and Dush's death in a sawmill explosion in 1888, the community petitioned to return the post office name to Winn in 1898. The population peaked at 310 residents in 1910. The lumber industry was revived in 1946 when the Morey Brothers established operations, with their mill becoming the largest in Central Michigan by 1951. On its centennial in 1976, Winn received recognition from state officials including Governor William Milliken. Today, Winn remains a rural community served by Shepherd Public Schools and supported by local institutions including a community center, fire department, and library branch.
