If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Wake Forest and the surrounding Wake County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Wake Forest, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Wake Forest — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Wake Forest customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Wake Forest or the surrounding Wake County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in North Carolina involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Wake Forest, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all North Carolina environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Wake Forest, located in Wake County just north of Raleigh, has grown into a thriving community with deep historical roots. The town's population reached 47,601 at the 2020 census, up significantly from 30,117 in 2010, reflecting its status as part of the Raleigh metropolitan area. The story of Wake Forest begins in 1832 when Dr. Calvin Jones, originally from Massachusetts, purchased 615 acres of forested land and established a plantation. Jones later sold his farm to the North Carolina Baptist Convention for two thousand dollars, who founded the Wake Forest Manual Labor Institute, eventually known as Wake Forest College. The completion of the Raleigh and Gaston Railroad in 1840 proved transformative, establishing a depot that spurred growth around the school and village. When railroad leaders moved the depot closer to the college in 1874, economic development accelerated. The community was incorporated as the Town of Wake Forest College in 1880, with "College" removed from the name in 1909. Wake Forest University remained here for 122 years before relocating to Winston-Salem in 1956, after which the Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary occupied the original campus. The town's rapid expansion earned recognition in 2007 when Forbes magazine named it the twentieth fastest growing suburb in America, having experienced a 73.2 percent population increase between 2000 and 2006. Today, Wake Forest offers residents and visitors cultural attractions including the Wake Forest Dance Festival and Renaissance Center, along with historic sites like the Dr. Calvin Jones House and numerous properties on the National Register of Historic Places.
