Waite Park is a city in Stearns County, Minnesota, located on the west side of St. Cloud. Incorporated in 1893, the city was named for Henry Chester Waite, a state legislator. A post office operated in Waite Park from 1897 until 1972. According to the 2020 census, Waite Park had a population of 8,341 residents.
