If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Sartell and the surrounding Stearns County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Sartell, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Sartell — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Two questions. Tells you exactly where you stand.
Do you have the title in your name?
Is there still a loan or lien on the car?
This includes title loans, and any bank or lender listed as lienholder.
Clean title, no lien. Have the title, a photo ID, and the keys ready at pickup — our driver brings the rest of the paperwork.
Get my cash offerA missing title usually isn't a dealbreaker. Bring a photo ID and the vehicle registration if you have it. We handle no-title sales regularly — just tell us your situation when you call.
Get my cash offerA car with an active lien or title loan can't be sold until the lender releases it. Pay off the balance, get the lien release from your lender, and the title becomes yours to sell. Once that's done, give us a call — we'll buy it.
Look at the front of your title — if a bank or lender is printed in the lienholder section, there's a lien on the car. If you financed it and haven't paid it off, assume there is one. Still unsure? Call us and we'll work through it with you.
Call 619-762-2001Without the title in hand, the quickest way to know is to contact the lender you financed through, or request a title record from your state's motor vehicle office. If you never financed the car, there's almost certainly no lien. Call us and we'll help you sort it out.
Call 619-762-2001A missing or lost title doesn't stop you from selling your car in Sartell. Title rules are set at the state level, and Minnesota has its own process for signing a car over, replacing a lost title, and selling when you're still making payments. When you sell to us, our driver brings the paperwork and walks you through every step at pickup — but if you want the full picture first, we put together a plain-English guide just for Minnesota.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Sartell customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Sartell or the surrounding Stearns County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Minnesota involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Sartell, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Minnesota environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Sartell is a city spanning Benton and Stearns Counties in central Minnesota, straddling the Mississippi River as part of the St. Cloud metropolitan area. With a population of 19,351 at the 2020 census, it stands as St. Cloud's most populous suburb and the fourth-largest city in central Minnesota.
The area's early history involved the Dakota people, followed by westward migration of the Anishinaabe, who eventually controlled northern Minnesota by 1820. The Watab Creek marked the boundary between these two groups, a border the U.S. government formally established in the 1825 Treaty at Prairie du Chien. Between 1846 and 1848, the U.S. government relocated Ho-Chunk people to the area to serve as a buffer between the warring tribes, though they departed within five years for more peaceful territory farther south.
The town began as a lumber and paper community at "The Third Rapids," where French fur traders encountered rough waters traveling north from Minneapolis. Joseph B. Sartell, a millwright who arrived in 1854, became the community's namesake after opening a flour mill at the Watab River in 1877 and founding Sartell Brothers Lumber Company with his sons in 1884. When residents incorporated the town in 1907, they chose to honor Sartell rather than another prominent local businessman. That same year, construction began on the Sartell Pulp and Paper Company and the Sartell Dam, both completed in 1907. The paper mill became the city's largest employer through subsequent ownership changes, eventually becoming Verso Paper's Sartell Mill. From a population of 700 in 1960, Sartell has grown to over 18,000 residents, particularly accelerating in the 1970s onward.
