If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Rodeo and the surrounding Hidalgo County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Rodeo, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Rodeo — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Rodeo customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Rodeo or the surrounding Hidalgo County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Mexico involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Rodeo, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Mexico environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Rodeo is a small census-designated place in western Hidalgo County, New Mexico, situated less than a mile from the Arizona border along New Mexico State Road 80. According to the 2020 census, the community has a population of 108 residents. The town was founded in 1902 as a rail stop on the El Paso and Southwestern Railroad line, which connected Bisbee, Arizona to El Paso, Texas. This strategic location made Rodeo the center for cattle shipping in the San Simon Valley. The name Rodeo comes from Spanish, meaning "roundup" or "enclosure," specifically referring to a place where cattle are gathered, derived from the Spanish verb rodear, meaning "to surround or encircle." The El Paso and Southwestern Railroad runs east across southern New Mexico and, after passing through Antelope Pass, turns south toward Rodeo before continuing to Douglas, Arizona, and then north to Bisbee, traveling around the Chiricahua Mountains. Today, Highway 80 connects Rodeo northward 30 miles to Interstate 10 at Road Forks and southwest 2 miles to the Arizona state line, where it becomes Arizona State Route 80. The county seat, Lordsburg, lies 47 miles to the northeast. The Rodeo CDP encompasses 8.2 square miles of land.
