If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Rociada and the surrounding San Miguel County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Rociada, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Rociada — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Rociada customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Rociada or the surrounding San Miguel County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Mexico involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Rociada, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Mexico environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Rociada is a settled area in San Miguel County, New Mexico, located 27 miles northwest of Las Vegas, the county seat. The name Rociada means "sprinkled with dew" in Spanish, a fitting description for a place known for its relatively high-elevation, mild, and moist summer climate that contrasts sharply with the hot and arid regions found elsewhere in Northern New Mexico.
The community's history is marked by notable landmarks and residents. The Pendaries Gristmill, situated one mile east of Rociada and built in the 1870s, stands as perhaps the best preserved gristmill in New Mexico and is listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places. The area was also home to influential political figures, including José A. Baca, who served as the fifth Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico from 1876 to 1924, and his wife Marguerite Pendaries Baca, who held the position of sixth Secretary of State of New Mexico. The couple maintained a large ranch near Rociada. Musician and songwriter Antonia Apodaca, born and raised in the community, lived from 1923 to 2020 and contributed to the area's cultural heritage.
More recently, Rociada faced significant challenges during the Calf Canyon/Hermits Peak Fire, which burned from April to August 2022 and became one of the largest fires in New Mexico history. The blaze destroyed forests across the hillsides surrounding the Rociada valley, and the resulting denuded slopes caused severe flooding during monsoon rains. The area was evacuated during the fire's duration.
