If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Ribera and the surrounding San Miguel County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Ribera, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Ribera — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Ribera customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Ribera or the surrounding San Miguel County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Mexico involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Ribera, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Mexico environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Ribera is an unincorporated community and census-designated place nestled in San Miguel County in northern New Mexico, positioned at the foot of Rowe Mesa along the Pecos River, approximately fifty miles southeast of Santa Fe. According to the 2020 census, the community is home to 314 residents.
The town's character has been shaped by its geographic position and historical significance. Interstate 25 and Route 3, which follows the path of the original Route 66, divide the community, and remnants of that famous motor-tourist route remain visible throughout the area in the form of old rusted cars and abandoned structures. Ribera has become a haven for artists and ranchers, though some longtime establishments have closed, including the Sunshine Station, a former gas station and general store.
The surrounding region holds several points of interest. To the east lies the Imus Ranch, a non-profit organization that operated from 1999 to 2014 providing support to children with cancer and served as a broadcast location for the Fox Business program Imus in the Morning. South of Ribiera is San Miguel del Vado, an even smaller community that once served as a stop on the historic Santa Fe Trail. To the west, the Glorieta Mesa portion of the Santa Fe National Forest offers natural landscape and recreation.
Ribiera's students attend schools within the West Las Vegas Schools district, with West Las Vegas High School serving as the area's high school. The community has produced notable figures, including Richard Vigil, a former member of the New Mexico House of Representatives.
