If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Oretech and the surrounding Klamath County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Oretech, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Oretech — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Oretech customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Oretech or the surrounding Klamath County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Oretech, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Oregon Tech began as the Oregon Vocational School on July 15, 1947, founded to train and re-educate returning World War II veterans. The school held its first classes in a deactivated Marine Corps hospital three miles northeast of Klamath Falls under the direction of Winston Purvine. In that inaugural year of 1947–1948, veterans made up 98 percent of the student body. The following year, the institution was renamed the Oregon Technical Institute, and by 1950, veterans still represented 75 percent of enrollment. During the Korean War, the school expanded its mission by receiving a contract to train soldiers in welding and warehouse management. Over the decades, Oregon Tech grew its academic offerings significantly, with associate degree programs in Surveying and Structural Engineering Technologies first accredited in 1953, bachelor's degree programs arriving in 1970, and master's degrees beginning in 1995. The campus relocated to its current Klamath Falls location in 1964, and the institution took its present name, Oregon Institute of Technology, in 1973, later rebranding to Oregon Tech in 2012. Today, Oregon Tech serves students across multiple campuses, with its residential campus in Klamath Falls and an urban campus in Wilsonville, alongside locations in Salem and Seattle. The institution is known for emphasizing hands-on learning, with nearly all students completing externships, co-ops, or other practical training as part of their education.
