Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Mechanic Falls customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Mechanic Falls or the surrounding Androscoggin County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.

Mechanic Falls is a town in Androscoggin County, Maine, with a population of 3,107 at the 2020 census. The town's origins trace back to 1765, when Bakerstown Plantation was granted by the Massachusetts General Court to Captain Thomas Baker and other soldiers for their service in the 1690 Battle of Quebec. The village that would become Mechanic Falls developed along the Little Androscoggin River, the dividing line between Poland and Minot. Settlement began in 1830 on the Poland side and 1836 on the Minot side, when Dean Andrews was attracted to the area's fertile soil and waterpower for mills.
The town earned its name from the mechanics who operated early industrial works at the falls. Growth accelerated after the St. Lawrence and Atlantic Railroad arrived in the late 1840s, connecting Portland and Montreal and opening new opportunities for business and trade. Mechanic Falls was officially incorporated on March 22, 1893. Throughout the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, the town developed a robust industrial base. The first paper mill opened in 1850, while the Evans Rifle Manufacturing Company, organized in 1873, produced repeating rifles used by frontiersmen including Kit Carson and Buffalo Bill Cody. J.W. Penney and Sons, formally established in 1886, became one of Maine's greatest machine shops. Other industries included canned goods, bricks, carriages, and steam engines. By 1981, when Marcal Paper closed the latter of two mills, Mechanic Falls had developed a more diversified economy.
