There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Mackinac Island, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Mackinac Island — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Mackinac Island customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Mackinac Island or the surrounding Mackinac County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Mackinac Island, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Mackinac Island, a city in Mackinac County, Michigan, has a population of 583 according to the 2020 census. The island's history stretches back centuries, beginning as home to the Mi-shi-ne-macki naw-go, a small independent Native American tribe that eventually became affiliated with the larger Ottawa nation. French Jesuit missionaries and traders arrived in the 17th century, establishing a lucrative fur trade that would define the island's economy for generations. After the French ceded their North American territory to the British in 1763, the British constructed Fort St. Joseph on the island. American forces took control during the Revolutionary War, and by 1782, the United States established a garrison there under Captain Daniel Robertson. The island officially became part of the United States in 1796 through Jay's Treaty.
In its early American period, Mackinac Island maintained a predominantly French-Canadian and Métis population, with French as the primary language. The War of 1812 brought significant changes, as the United States prohibited British fur traders from operating in American territory, gradually attracting more Anglo-American residents. In 1817, the Borough of Michilimackinac was formally established, and the following year it became the county seat of Michilimackinac County, later reorganized as Mackinac County with St. Ignace taking over as county seat. Today, Mackinac Island is known for its unique 1895 ordinance banning motor vehicles and its famous Grand Hotel, which helped establish the island as a premier summer tourist destination.
