If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and hand you cash. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Hotevilla and the surrounding Navajo County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Hotevilla, including:
Three steps from your first call to cash in hand. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Hotevilla — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and hands you cash before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Hotevilla customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Hotevilla or the surrounding Navajo County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Arizona involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Hotevilla, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Arizona environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Hotevilla, located in Navajo County on the Hopi Reservation, emerged from a pivotal moment in Hopi history. The settlement was founded by a group known as the "hostiles," Hopi residents who were forced out of the nearby village of Oraibi during the 1906 Oraibi Split. This division arose from deep ideological disagreements over European cultural influences brought by settlers, soldiers, and missionaries—influences that the hostiles strongly opposed. In 1911, the US Army forcibly took children from Hotevilla and sent them to government boarding schools, after years of resistance from the community. Later efforts to bring displaced residents back home led to the establishment of a neighboring settlement called Bacavi, which eventually merged with Hotevilla to form a unified community. The settlement gained wider recognition when English author D. H. Lawrence visited Hopi country in 1924 and later mentioned Hotevilla in his travel memoir Mornings in Mexico. Today, Hotevilla-Bacavi is a census-designated place spanning 11.9 square miles. According to the 2020 census, the population was 1,001 residents, reflecting steady growth from 957 in 2010. The community is served by White Cone High School through the Cedar Unified School District and has produced notable figures including renowned Hopi jeweler Charles Loloma and storyteller Helen Sekaquaptewa.
