A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Girard, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Girard — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Girard customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Girard or the surrounding Crawford County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Kansas involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Girard, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Kansas environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Girard is the county seat of Crawford County, Kansas. Founded in the spring of 1868, the city was established in competition with the nearby town of Crawfordsville and named after Girard, Pennsylvania, the former home of trustee Charles Strong. The town was strategically positioned along the surveyed line of the Kansas City, Fort Scott and Gulf Railroad. Its first post office opened in September 1868, and the community held its first celebration on July 4, 1868, combining Independence Day festivities with Sunday school observances. By March 1871, Girard was incorporated as a city of the third class, with its first city council meeting held in April of that year. As of the 2020 census, Girard had a population of 2,496.
The early economy was built on milling and banking. Franklin Playter established the first bank in 1871 and constructed the city's first brick building two years later. The Girard Mills began operations in 1871, while the Crawford County Mills commenced production the same year. However, mining became the region's dominant industry. Coal operations along Carbon Creek expanded significantly, and by 1877, roughly one hundred miners were extracting coal from the area's strip pits. This industrial growth attracted waves of immigration, particularly from Southern Europe and the Balkans between 1880 and 1915. Over fifty nationalities came to work in the mines and smelters, fundamentally shaping the community's cultural character. Today, Crawford County celebrates this heritage through the annual "Little Balkan Days" event.
