If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Franklin and the surrounding Crawford County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Franklin, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Franklin — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Franklin customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Franklin or the surrounding Crawford County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Kansas involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Franklin, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Kansas environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Franklin is a census-designated place in Crawford County, Kansas, with a population of 473 as of the 2020 census. Located along U.S. Route 69, just south of Arma and north of Frontenac, Franklin began as a mining community in the early 1900s. The town served as a shipping point on the Joplin & Pittsburg electric railroad and established its first post office in 1908. Today it remains positioned along the Highway 69 Bypass, a major corridor connecting Kansas City with Pittsburg, Kansas, and Joplin, Missouri.
Franklin's modern history was forever altered on May 4, 2003, when a high-end F4 tornado devastated the community. The tornado's path reached over half a mile wide at points, destroying much of Franklin including the U.S. Post Office, community center, and approximately one-third of family homes. The disaster claimed four lives and left approximately twenty people injured.
The community preserves its heritage through the Miners Hall Museum, which opened in 2012 to document coal mining's impact on Southeast Kansas. A notable historical landmark is the Franklin Sidewalk, constructed in 1936 with federal funding. This three-foot-wide sidewalk stretches 1.7 miles between Arma and Franklin, earning recognition as the longest sidewalk connecting two communities. It appeared in the Guinness Book of World Records during the 1950s or 1960s and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2007. Today, Franklin continues as a small but resilient rural community with ZIP code 66735.
