A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Frostproof, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Frostproof — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Frostproof customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Frostproof or the surrounding Polk County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Florida involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Frostproof, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Florida environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Frostproof is a city located in southern Polk County, Florida, on the Lake Wales Ridge and part of the Lakeland–Winter Haven Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area's earliest settlement was established in 1850 as Fort Clinch, named after the nearby Lake Clinch and the Seminole War commander Duncan Lamont Clinch. This initial settlement was abandoned within months, but by the 1880s permanent homesteaders began arriving, drawn by the region's abundant hunting and fishing opportunities.
The city's distinctive name originated from a marketing strategy designed to assure potential landowners that frosts would never threaten the local citrus economy. The name replaced Keystone City after postal authorities rejected it due to confusion with Keystone Heights in North Florida. Joseph Washington Carson suggested Frostproof as an alternative, and although postmaster W. H. Overocker initially preferred Lakemont, Carson changed the application to Frostproof while delivering it to the Fort Meade post office, and the name was approved. The early post office, with Overocker as its first postmaster, was located at the corner of Wall Street and Carson Avenue.
Despite its name's promise, Frostproof experienced a devastating frost during the Great Freeze of 1895 that destroyed most of the area's citrus. The city developed gradually, finally receiving rail service in 1912. Today, Frostproof's Historic Train Depot remains open for tours. The city is situated between Lake Clinch and Lake Reedy, with its Historic Downtown District running along Wall Street. According to the 2020 census, Frostproof had a population of 2,877.
