If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Bartow and the surrounding Polk County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Bartow, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Bartow — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Bartow customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Bartow or the surrounding Polk County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Florida involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Bartow, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Florida environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Bartow serves as the county seat of Polk County, Florida, and began as Fort Blount when it was founded in 1851. The city was renamed later that year in honor of Francis S. Bartow, the first Confederate brigade commander to die in combat during the American Civil War. Today, Bartow sits approximately 39 miles east of Tampa and 50 miles southwest of the Greater Orlando area, positioned near the source of the Peace River. According to the 2020 Census, the city had a population of 19,309 residents, known as Bartowans.
The area experiences frequent afternoon thunderstorms during summer months, as Bartow is located near the center of "Lightning Alley," though winters tend to be sunny and mild. Government, mining, and agriculture form the backbone of the local economy. The city's official nickname is the "City of Oaks and Azaleas," and it maintains several landmarks of historical significance, including three districts on the National Register of Historic Places, the Old Polk County Courthouse built in 1909, and Bartow High School, formerly Summerlin Institute, which stands as the oldest high school in the county.
Though other Polk County cities like Lakeland and Winter Haven have grown larger, Bartow has preserved its small-city heritage and distinctive Southern character. A significant annexation of 18,000 acres of former phosphate mining land is expected to fuel substantial growth, with projections indicating the population could exceed 25,000 by 2025 and reach over 45,000 by 2030.
Call us right now or fill out the form above. Same-day pickup is almost always available throughout Polk County.
