A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Young America, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Young America — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Young America customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Young America or the surrounding Carver County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Minnesota involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Young America, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Minnesota environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Norwood Young America, located about forty miles west of Minneapolis in Carver County, Minnesota, is a relatively young city with roots stretching back to the nineteenth century. The city was formed on January 1, 1997, when the formerly independent cities of Norwood and Young America merged into one community.
Young America was platted in 1856 and incorporated in 1876. Originally named Farmington, the town went through name changes to Florence before settling on Young America in 1863, chosen to reflect "the vigor and progressiveness of the young people of the United States." Norwood, platted in 1872 and incorporated in 1881, has more mysterious origins, supposedly named by an early banker for an eastern relative or friend.
Today, Norwood Young America is home to approximately 3,863 residents according to the 2020 census. The city covers 2.52 square miles and is entirely rural. Its economy includes significant employment from the Young America Corporation, which moved to town in 1973 and processes rebate, coupon, and marketing programs for businesses nationwide. The volume of mail the corporation receives is so substantial that this small town operates over twenty ZIP codes, including the notable 55555. The Twin Cities and Western Railroad maintains a main junction in the community, connecting with its subsidiary, the Minnesota Prairie Line. Culturally, Norwood Young America hosts Stiftungsfest, recognized as Minnesota's oldest festival, dating back to 1861.
