A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Virginia City, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Virginia City — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Virginia City customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Virginia City or the surrounding Madison County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Montana involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Virginia City, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Montana environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Virginia City began as a gold rush boomtown in 1863 when Bill Fairweather and Henry Edgar discovered gold near Alder Creek on May 26. The township was officially formed on June 16, 1863, originally named Verina to honor Varina Howell Davis, the First Lady of the Confederate States of America. A Connecticut judge objected to the name, and it was recorded as Virginia City instead. Within weeks, the town filled with thousands of prospectors seeking fortune in the remote Idaho Territory. The lack of law enforcement led to serious criminal activity, with road agents responsible for up to 100 deaths in 1863 and 1864. This violence prompted the formation of the Vigilance Committee of Alder Gulch and the Montana Vigilantes, who hanged up to 15 road agents in late 1863 and early 1864. When the Montana Territory was officially organized on May 26, 1864, Virginia City became an important civic center. The territorial capital moved there on February 7, 1865, and remained until 1875. Montana's first newspaper, the Montana Post, began publication here in 1864, followed by the state's first public school in 1866. As placer gold depleted in the 1880s, the town declined. It was restored beginning in the 1950s by Charles and Sue Bovey as an open-air museum. Virginia City received National Historic Landmark status in 1962. Today, the Montana Heritage Commission operates the historic district, which features nearly 300 structures, almost half built before 1900. The town serves as a living history destination with museums, restaurants, and businesses alongside preserved Old West buildings.
