If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.

A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Taylor, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Taylor — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Taylor customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Taylor or the surrounding Wayne County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Taylor, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Taylor is a city located in Wayne County, Michigan, situated about five miles west of Detroit's southern border and approximately fifteen miles southwest of Downtown Detroit. With a population of 63,409 at the 2020 census, Taylor is the fifth most-populated city in Wayne County and the seventeenth most-populated city in Michigan. The area traces its origins to when it was part of Ecorse Township, with Peter Coan becoming the first documented landowner in 1830. Due to residents in the western portion finding themselves too distant from township civic functions, a petition in 1847 led to the creation of Taylor Township, named after Major General Zachary Taylor, the Mexican-American War hero who later became the twelfth U.S. president. A train station was established in 1876 following the Wabash Railroad's expansion through the area. On November 8, 1966, citizens voted to incorporate as a city, with official incorporation occurring on March 6, 1968, when Governor George W. Romney approved the city's charter. Today, Taylor serves as the most-populated municipality in the Downriver community and is home to notable institutions including Heritage Park, which hosts the Junior League World Series annually in August, Corewell Health Hospital, the Downriver Campus of Wayne County Community College District, and the Southland Center. The city is also the founding location of Hungry Howie's Pizza and is served by the Taylor School District.
