If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Canton and the surrounding Wayne County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Canton, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Canton — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Canton customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Canton or the surrounding Wayne County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Canton, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Canton Township is a charter township in Wayne County, Michigan, located roughly 23 miles west of downtown Detroit and 15 miles east of Ann Arbor. As of the 2020 census, Canton had a population of 98,659, making it Michigan's second most-populated township and ninth most-populated municipality overall. The township was created by the Michigan Territorial Legislature on March 7, 1834, out of a southern portion of Plymouth Township and named in honor of Canton, the historical name for the Chinese port and provincial capital now known as Guangzhou. The first organizational meeting was held in April 1834. Canton includes several communities within its borders: the unincorporated community of Canton itself, Cherry Hill in the western portion with its new urbanist neighborhood and historic structures, and Sheldon in the southern portion, a designated Michigan State Historic Site that dates back to 1825 when early settler Perry Sheldon helped establish the community. The Canton post office, established in 1852, continues to serve the area today. The township encompasses 36.14 square miles and is drained by the Lower River Rouge and its tributaries in the south, with the northeast drained by Tonquish Creek and Garden Creek. Major transportation routes include Interstate 275, US Highway 12, and Michigan State Route 153, along with the Canton-Plymouth Mettetal Airport serving the northeast section.
