A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Spencer, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Spencer — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Spencer customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Spencer or the surrounding Rowan County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in North Carolina involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Spencer, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all North Carolina environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Spencer is a town in Rowan County, North Carolina, with roots firmly planted in railroad history. Incorporated in 1905, the town was named for Samuel Spencer, the first president of the Southern Railway, who established the railroad's mechanical Spencer Shops at the site in 1896. The shops were strategically located at approximately the midpoint of the Southern Railway's mainline between Atlanta, Georgia and Washington, D.C. As the shops were constructed, the Southern Railway developed a town alongside them to house workers. Rather than creating a traditional company town where workers rented housing, the railway sold 85 acres partitioned into 500 lots to workers and businesses for one hundred dollars each. The deeds required that dwellings costing more than four hundred dollars and approved by a railway-appointed architect be constructed within a year. The Southern Railway also donated lots for religious institutions and helped establish a YMCA in the community. The town grew rapidly, reaching 625 residents by 1901 and four thousand by the 1920s. The Spencer Shops were gradually phased out during the 1950s through 1970s and now house the North Carolina Transportation Museum. Today, Spencer has a population of 3,308 according to the 2020 census, covering 2.7 square miles. Several historic sites, including the Alexander Long House, the Southern Railway Spencer Shops, and the Spencer Historic District, are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
