A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Somerset Center, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Somerset Center — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Somerset Center customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Somerset Center or the surrounding Hillsdale County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Somerset Center, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Somerset Center is an unincorporated community in northeastern Hillsdale County, Michigan, situated along U.S. Highway 12 within Somerset Township. Though it lacks legally defined boundaries and its own population statistics, the community maintains its own post office with the 49282 ZIP Code. Located at an elevation of 1,060 feet, Somerset Center sits among the highest points in southeast Michigan, near the outer edge of the Irish Hills region and just 1.5 miles south of the Jackson County line.
The area is distinguished by numerous lakes, including Lake LeAnn, Blood Lake, Crystal Lake, and others connected by Goose Creek, part of the River Raisin watershed. The source of Michigan's longest river, the Grand River, lies just north of the community. Somerset State Game Area, a 748-acre preserve, is located within the township south of Somerset Center.
Settlement began around 1833 when Elias Alley, from New York, built his home here. A post office opened in 1835 under the name Wheatland, later becoming Gambleville and eventually Somerset Center. The community officially platted on February 17, 1872, and received its own separate post office on June 19 of that year. The post office spelling changed from Somerset Centre to Somerset Center on November 25, 1893.
One notable resident was William Herbert Lee McCourtie, born near here in 1872, who became wealthy in the cement industry in Texas. Upon returning, he purchased his family farm in 1924 and transformed it into Aiden Lair, an estate featuring distinctive cement bridges and hosting prominent guests including Henry Ford. Following McCourtie's death in 1933, the property eventually became McCourtie Park, a public recreation area maintained by the township.
