If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Rock and the surrounding Cowley County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Rock, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Rock — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Rock customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Rock or the surrounding Cowley County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Kansas involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Rock, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Kansas environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Rock is a small census-designated place in Cowley County, Kansas, with a population of 94 as of the 2020 census. The community's history stretches back to 1870, when its post office was established on August 12 of that year. The arrival of rail service proved significant to the area's development. In 1877, the Florence, El Dorado, and Walnut Valley Railroad Company constructed a branch line from Florence to El Dorado, which was later extended to Douglass and Arkansas City by 1881. This line, which passed through Rock alongside communities including Burns, De Graff, Augusta, Akron, Winfield, and other towns, was leased and operated by the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railway until the Florence to El Dorado segment was abandoned in 1942. The nearby Bucher Bridge, now on the National Register of Historic Places, was built in 1905. Rock gained national attention in 1978 when a major oxidizer spill at a nearby Titan II ICBM site, located 2.5 miles south of the community, prompted a full evacuation on August 24. The incident tragically claimed the lives of two airmen from the 381st Strategic Missile Wing at McConnell Air Force Base. More recently, the Keystone XL Pipeline was constructed approximately 2.5 miles west of Rock in 2010, running north to south through Butler County, with a pumping station named Rock built along the route. Today, Rock is served by the Udall USD 463 public school district.
