A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Burden, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Burden — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Burden customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Burden or the surrounding Cowley County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Kansas involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Burden, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Kansas environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Burden, Kansas, is a small city in Cowley County with a population of 512 as of the 2020 census. The town's origins trace back to 1879, when it was surveyed and laid out in anticipation of the Kansas City, Lawrence and Southern Railroad. Robert F. Burden, a member of the local company that created the town, lent his name to the settlement. When the railroad arrived on February 1, 1882, its name had changed to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe, and Burden became one of its stations and shipping points.
The early town quickly developed essential services and institutions. A general store, drug store, and post office were among the first buildings established. The post office, initially called Burdenville, was created in 1879 and renamed in 1884. The Enterprise newspaper began printing in 1880 and had grown to a circulation of 900 by 1882. The community also relocated an existing school to town in the summer of 1881, bringing education closer to residents. Today, Burden covers 0.54 square miles and remains a rural community. Students in the area are served by Central USD 462 public school district, with Central High School serving the region.
