A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Ojo Caliente, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Ojo Caliente — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Ojo Caliente customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Ojo Caliente or the surrounding Taos County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in New Mexico involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Ojo Caliente, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all New Mexico environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Ojo Caliente, whose name means "Hot Spring" in Spanish, is a small unincorporated community nestled in Taos County along the Rio Ojo Caliente. Located on U.S. Route 285 between Española and Taos, roughly fifty miles north of Santa Fe, the community sits at an elevation of 6,300 feet in an arid landscape that receives only eleven inches of annual precipitation. As of the 2020 census, Ojo Caliente had a population of 135 residents, many of whom maintain small farms irrigated by acequias drawing water from the Rio Ojo Caliente.
The settlement's history stretches back to 1735, when genizaros—detribalized Native Americans descended from slaves—and Hispanic settlers were brought to the frontier to defend against raids by Comanche and other tribes. The Spanish government formally granted land to genizaros in 1754, and by 1766 a protective fort stood in the community. After Governor Juan Bautista de Anza reported the village deserted in 1779, eighteen families from Bernalillo resettled it in 1790 following a peace agreement with the Comanche. By 1807, Major Zebulon Pike described a village of some five hundred inhabitants arranged around a central plaza with adobe buildings and noted the remarkable warm springs nearby.
Today, Ojo Caliente remains renowned for its hot springs resort, one of North America's oldest health resorts. According to Tewa tradition, the thermal pools offered access to the underworld. Frank Mauro purchased the springs in 1932, and the resort operated as a family business for three generations. The resort buildings and the nearby Round Barn, constructed in 1924, are both listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
