If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Negaunee and the surrounding Marquette County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Negaunee, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Negaunee — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Negaunee customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Negaunee or the surrounding Marquette County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Negaunee, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Negaunee is a city of 4,627 residents located in Marquette County in Michigan's Upper Peninsula, at the southwest corner of Negaunee Township. The city's name comes from the Ojibwe word nigani, meaning "foremost" or "leading," a fitting tribute to its pioneering heritage. Built following the discovery of the Marquette Iron Range in the early nineteenth century, Negaunee became a center of iron mining when the Jackson Mine was established in 1845. The community received its post office in 1858, was incorporated as a village in 1865, and became a city in 1873. Many immigrants settled the area as mining operations expanded, contributing cultural traditions that endure today. However, extensive underground mining led to the abandonment of roughly half the city in the early twentieth century due to cave-in risks. The trolley system closed in 1927, and the Jackson Mine ceased operations within city limits by the 1940s. Negaunee holds a unique distinction in sports history: on January 16, 1952, it became the smallest city ever to host an NBA game when the Milwaukee Hawks defeated the Baltimore Bullets. The city remains the smallest to host any major North American professional sports event. Today, Negaunee offers visitors the Michigan Iron Industry Museum, the nation's only full-length natural-track luge course, and the Suicide Hill Ski Jump. The annual Pioneer Days festival and Heritage Trails provide additional recreational and historical attractions for residents and visitors alike.
