A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Monument, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Monument — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Monument customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Monument or the surrounding Grant County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Monument, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Monument is a small city in Grant County, Oregon, situated near the confluence of the North and Middle Forks of the John Day River. Its post office was established in 1874 and named for a nearby mountain or rock formation. The city has experienced significant population changes over the past two decades, declining from 165 residents in 2000 to 115 by the 2020 census, reflecting broader economic shifts in the region.
The decline in Monument's population correlates with changes in the local economy. Annual federal timber payments to the city dropped dramatically from one hundred thousand dollars in 1990 to just five thousand dollars by 2000. The contraction of ranching and timber production prompted families to relocate, affecting the school district particularly. The Monument School, which had over one hundred students in 1997, saw enrollment fall to sixty-two children by 2000. Despite these challenges, the school district invested in environmental education through a science building constructed with approximately five hundred thousand dollars in federal grant funding, teaching students about local Ponderosa Pine forest ecology, sagebrush steppe, and stream habitats.
At the turn of the millennium, Monument maintained essential community services including a grocery store, restaurant, tavern, three churches, a senior center, and a fire station. The city is located about one hundred ten miles southwest of Pendleton and sixty-four miles northwest of John Day. Monument experiences a steppe climate with warm, dry summers and approximately thirteen inches of annual precipitation. The city encompasses just over half a square mile and is home to Monument Municipal Airport.
