If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Lorane and the surrounding Lane County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Lorane, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Lorane — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Lorane customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Lorane or the surrounding Lane County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Lorane, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Lorane is an unincorporated community nestled in the foothills of the Central Oregon Coast Range in Lane County, about twenty miles southwest of Eugene and thirteen miles northwest of Cottage Grove. Located on Territorial Road near the headwaters of the North Fork Siuslaw River, this small valley community has developed around several wineries, including King Estate Winery, Chateau Lorane Winery, and Iris Hill Winery, along with two general stores. The area is home to notable historic buildings that reflect its nineteenth and early twentieth-century roots, including the Lorane Christian Church from 1889, the Lorane Rebekah Lodge from 1898, and the Lorane Grange hall from 1909. Though unincorporated, Lorane maintains its own post office and ZIP code 97451.
White settlement of Lorane began in the early 1850s, driven by the Donation Land Claim Act of 1850, which offered free land to settlers moving to the Oregon Territory. Early landmarks include the Applegate Trail, a stagecoach route, and the Cartwright House, also known as Mountain House Hotel. The nearby railroad was built in Cottage Grove rather than Lorane. Before white settlement, the Siuslaw people inhabited this land for over nine thousand years, speaking the Siuslaw language until the last documented speakers were interviewed in the 1950s. Today, indigenous history in Lorane has largely disappeared from community memory, with only tradition recounting a Siuslaw village that once existed in the valley.
