If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Florence and the surrounding Lane County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Florence, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Florence — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Florence customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Florence or the surrounding Lane County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Oregon involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Florence, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Oregon environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Florence is a coastal city located in Lane County, Oregon, situated at the mouth of the Siuslaw River on the Pacific Ocean. Positioned roughly midway between Newport to the north and Coos Bay to the south along U.S. Route 101, Florence has grown into a community of 9,553 residents as of August 2023. The area was originally inhabited by the Siuslaw tribe of Native Americans before European settlement. The city's name has two origin stories: some believe it was named after state senator A. B. Florence, who represented Lane County from 1858 to 1860, while others claim it comes from a French vessel that wrecked at the mouth of the Siuslaw River on February 17, 1875.
Like much of Western Oregon's coast, Florence experiences a Mediterranean climate that is notably cooler and wetter than typical for this classification, with the Pacific Ocean's cooling effect making summers significantly cooler than inland Eugene. The city receives heavy rainfall outside the brief dry season in July and August, with annual precipitation totaling almost twice that of the Willamette Valley.
Florence gained national attention for two unusual events in its recent history. On November 12, 1970, the Oregon Department of Transportation attempted to dispose of a beached whale using explosives, resulting in unintended consequences when pieces were blown toward bystanders rather than the ocean. In 2020, residents voted to memorialize this event by naming a new park Exploding Whale Memorial Park. Additionally, a poorly-worded ordinance approved by the Florence City Council on November 26, 1977, accidentally banned sex in private places, though officials stated they would not enforce it pending amendment.
