If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Kunia and the surrounding Honolulu County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Kunia, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Kunia — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Kunia customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Kunia or the surrounding Honolulu County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Hawaii involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Kunia, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Hawaii environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Kunia is an unincorporated community on the island of Oahu in Honolulu County, Hawaii, situated along Hawaii Route 750 northwest of downtown Honolulu at an elevation of 883 feet. The community maintains its own post office under ZIP code 96759.
Kunia's history is rooted in agriculture. Originally established as a plantation village for a Del Monte pineapple plantation, the community's character changed when the plantation closed in 2006. Two years later, the community's land was transferred to the Hawaiian Agriculture Research Center, which allowed residents to maintain their leases and continue their lives in the village. In recognition of its historical significance, Kunia was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2014.
The community continues to evolve in the twenty-first century. In March 2019, the Public Utilities Commission approved a major renewable energy development called Hoʻohana Solar 1, a 52-megawatt solar farm with 208 megawatt-hour battery storage project spanning 352 acres. The project, developed through a partnership involving 174 Power Global and Robinson Kunia Land LLC, would supply electricity to HECO at ten cents per kilowatt-hour. However, the project faced significant opposition from agricultural and environmental organizations, including the Hawaii Farm Bureau, Hawaii Sierra Club, and the state's Department of Agriculture and Office of Planning. Some local farmers have advocated for collaborative approaches that would allow farming and renewable energy projects to coexist and strengthen the agricultural land's financial viability.
