If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Aiea and the surrounding Honolulu County area — running or not, any make, any model, free towing, scheduled pickup.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Aiea, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Aiea — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Aiea customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Aiea or the surrounding Honolulu County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Hawaii involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Aiea, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Hawaii environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

ʻAiea is a census-designated place in Honolulu County, Hawaii, with a population of 10,408 as of the 2020 Census. Covering 1.8 square miles, the town sits between Pearl Harbor and the surrounding mountains, with Kamehameha Highway and Interstate H-1 serving as major east-west routes that connect it to neighboring Pearl City and Halawa.
The name ʻAiea comes from a Hawaiian ahupuaʻa, or traditional land division, and was derived from a nightshade plant species. The area's modern development began at the end of the nineteenth century when the Honolulu Sugar Company opened the ʻAiea Sugar Mill. This plantation shaped the community for over a century until the mill was demolished in 1998, long after the refinery closed in 1996.
ʻAiea holds significant historical importance. In July 1941, a naval commander disappeared in the hills above town under mysterious circumstances that remain unexplained to this day. The following December, ʻAiea was directly impacted by the attack on Pearl Harbor, with residents witnessing the assault from the surrounding hills. One damaged ship, USS Vestal, was beached in ʻAiea Bay to prevent sinking. Military installations established in the area included Aiea Naval Hospital and the Nimitz Bowl, while Camp H. M. Smith became the headquarters of the United States Pacific Command.
Today, ʻAiea has grown into an important Honolulu suburb. The community is home to Pearlridge, Hawaii's largest enclosed shopping center, and Keaiwa Heiau, an ancient medicine shrine with a scenic hiking trail that passes a World War II plane crash site.
