If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and hand you cash. That's it.

A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Jerome, including:
Three steps from your first call to cash in hand. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time. Same-day is usually available. We come right to you in Jerome — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and hands you cash before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Jerome customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we can usually get a truck out to you the same day — especially if you're anywhere in Jerome or the surrounding Yavapai County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Call before noon and we'll do everything we can to make it happen that afternoon.
Transferring a car in Arizona involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Jerome, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Arizona environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Jerome is a town nestled in the Black Hills of Yavapai County, located approximately one hundred miles north of Phoenix along State Route 89A between Sedona and Prescott. Built atop Cleopatra Hill, which overlooks the Verde Valley, Jerome owes its existence to geological processes spanning billions of years. The hill itself formed 1.75 billion years ago from volcanic activity in an ancient undersea caldera. Over vast spans of time, tectonic movements, plate collisions, and erosion exposed two massive ore bodies rich in copper, gold, silver, and other metals.
In the late nineteenth century, these deposits fueled Jerome's rapid growth. The United Verde Mine, developed by William A. Clark, and the United Verde Extension Mine, owned by James Douglas Jr., extracted ore from these rich deposits. By the 1920s, the town had grown to more than 10,000 people. However, mining production proved subject to fluctuations, affected by World War I demand, the Great Depression, and eventually resource depletion. When the mines closed permanently in 1953, the population plummeted to fewer than one hundred.
The town's survival came through economic transformation. Residents redirected their efforts toward tourism and retail, establishing art galleries, coffeehouses, restaurants, and a museum dedicated to mining history. Jerome achieved recognition as a National Historic Landmark in 1967. Today, with a population of 464 as of the 2020 census, Jerome State Historic Park and the Prescott National Forest preserve the town's unique heritage and natural setting.
