A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Hickory, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Hickory — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Hickory customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Hickory or the surrounding Catawba County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in North Carolina involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Hickory, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all North Carolina environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Hickory, located in western North Carolina approximately 60 miles northwest of Charlotte, is the 25th most populous city in the state with a 2022 population of 44,084. The city anchors the Hickory–Lenoir–Morganton Metropolitan Statistical Area, home to 368,347 residents, and is part of the larger Charlotte-Concord Combined Statistical Area.
The city takes its name from the Hickory Tavern, a log structure built in the 1790s beneath a hickory tree on land surveyed in 1779 and granted in 1783. Henry Link purchased the first lot in 1858, and the area was incorporated as a town in 1870, changing its name to Hickory three years later. The city officially achieved city status in 1889.
Hickory experienced rapid growth during the 1880s, installing electric lights in 1888 and opening the elegant Elliott Opera House the following year. The city became a pioneer in municipal management in 1913 when it adopted the council-manager form of government, becoming the first municipality in North Carolina to hire a city manager. A sewage system was built in 1904, and the city constructed a municipal auditorium in 1921.
The furniture industry shaped Hickory's identity, with Hickory White, established in 1902, remaining one of the oldest furniture manufacturers still operating on its original site. The city earned national recognition for the "Miracle of Hickory" during the 1940s polio outbreak, when residents built a hospital in less than 54 hours to care for affected children. In recent years, Travel and Leisure recognized Hickory as the most beautiful and affordable place to live in the United States.
