If you've got a car sitting in your driveway that you don't want anymore, the hardest part is over — you've already decided to let it go. Joe's Cash For Cars makes everything after that as simple as it gets. You call, we make you an offer, you say yes, we show up and pay you on the spot. That's it.
We buy cars for cash all over Freeland and the surrounding Saginaw County area — running or not, any make, any model, free same-day towing.
A lot of people assume their old car isn't worth much — especially if it doesn't run, has body damage, or has been sitting for a while. But we buy cars in every kind of condition, and we almost always pay more than people expect. Give us a call at 619-762-2001 and find out exactly what your car is worth.
There's no shortage of people who claim they'll buy your car — but a lot of them will lowball you, ghost you after the inspection, or show up with a completely different number than what they quoted. We don't operate that way.
We service every part of Freeland, including:
Three steps from your first call to getting paid. No runaround, no hidden fees.
Tell us your car's year, make, model, and condition. We give you a real offer in under two minutes — no callbacks, no pressure.
Accept the offer and pick a time that works for you — often the same day or next. We come right to you in Freeland — home, work, wherever. You don't move an inch.
Our driver brings all the paperwork, handles the tow, and pays you before they leave. Under 30 minutes, start to finish.
Some car-buying services quote you high to get you interested, then the driver shows up and suddenly there's a problem with the catalytic converter or the transmission mounts and the offer drops by $300. We've heard this story from Freeland customers dozens of times. Our quote is based on an honest assessment, and that's the number we show up with — period.
Once you accept your offer, we'll set up a pickup time that works for you — often the same day or next day, especially if you're anywhere in Freeland or the surrounding Saginaw County area. We run routes here regularly, so scheduling is rarely an issue. Give us a call and we'll lock in a time.
Transferring a car in Michigan involves more forms than most people expect — especially if the title isn't straightforward or there's an outstanding loan. Our drivers carry everything, know the process cold, and make sure it's all done correctly so you're not on the hook for anything down the road.
After we buy your vehicle in Freeland, it's either resold, parted out, or recycled through licensed facilities that meet all Michigan environmental regulations. We never abandon vehicles or dump them — every car we buy is handled responsibly.

Freeland is a census-designated place located in Tittabawassee Township in Saginaw County, Michigan, serving as part of the Saginaw-Midland-Bay Metropolitan Area. As of the 2020 census, Freeland had a population of 7,630 residents. The area's post office, with ZIP code 48623, provides mail service not only to nearly the entire township but also to portions of several neighboring townships in both Midland and Saginaw counties.
The region has deep historical roots, with Native Americans inhabiting the area long before European settlement. Following the 1819 Treaty of Saginaw, in which the Chippewa, Ottawa, and Pottawatomi ceded a large portion of land to the federal government, one reserved tract called Black Bird's Village was established nearby on the Tittabawassee River. Lumbering operations began developing in the 1850s, with early settlements including an outpost called Loretta that had a post office named Jay starting in 1856. The name Freeland itself comes from Mammy Freeland, who operated a popular tavern on the river that became a gathering place for lumbermen and rivermen. The post office was renamed Freeland in January 1879, and the settlement also served as a station on the Pere Marquette Railroad.
Today, Freeland is home to MBS International Airport, which serves the three major nearby cities of Saginaw, Bay City, and Midland. The community also hosts the Saginaw Correctional Facility, a maximum security prison. During World War II, the airport was used to hold German and Japanese prisoners of war. Since 1985, Freeland's Lions Club chapter has organized the annual Freeland Walleye Festival.
